Design and Development of Solar Powered Automatic Irrigation System for Modernization of Agriculture

The aim of research is to reduce the utilization water by irrigating agricultural fields that have low moisture level through implementation Wireless Sensor Network (WSN). ARM-based irrigation solution consists a Solar Tracking System, Information Unit (WIU), WSN and Remote Access. System utilizes maximum solar energy using Light Dependent Resistor(LDR) track sun. electric produced stored in battery which powers ARM processor. will collect sensor information from use Wi-Fi. system monitors soil-moisture controls flow solenoid valve depending upon set threshold. In tank, Ultra Sonic identifies controlled WIU. An Android application helps farmer monitor soil remotely. proposed management methodologies for agriculture optimizes usage such practices maintain crop health, keep yield intact, avoids human intervention. this system, maintained appropriately ensure good harvest obtained turn preserves different types nutrients.
